Originally established in 1932 and located in Taunton, Massachusetts, it was acquired in 1987 from its original owner. In 1999, the manufacturing operation and Canadian sales and marketing division were located in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada and called Crown Tanks of Canada, Ltd. (CTC). A separate, independent company called North East Tank Technologies LLC was established and located in Middleborough, MA. It serves as the sales and distribution operation within the United States with considerable experience in sales of tanks thorough an established independent distributor network in the northeast USA. CTC's manufacturing site is an 18,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility with smooth product flow and outstanding product design, consisting of 12-gauge steel throughout, with the capability of using robotic welding and a sophisticated, modern three step powder coating paint line capable of providing the finest paint finish in the industry.
